With our celebrity engrossed culture hanging onto every word and action emanating from the star factory out on the west coast you would think that everyone would find cosmetic surgery face lifts a necessity.  But that is not quite the case.

Going under the knife and having your skin peeled off your face, stretched like a drum skin, and then reattached behind your ears just does not seem to resonate with as many people as you might think.

Sure the prospect of looking 20 years younger has some appeal.  But the prospect of looking constantly surprised seems to temper that appeal with a healthy dose of caution.

A face lift, cosmetic surgery, or any type of plastic surgery is not to be undertaken lightly.  Surgery by its very nature is risky.  And when the decision to have elective surgery, as in the case of cosmetic surgery face lifts, the patient is really putting their vanity in front of their safety.

Let’s face it, plastic surgery face lifts are not for the young.  They are tailor made for people who are getting old and can’t stand the site of their face in the morning.  That is an understandable feeling.  I’m sure most people couldn’t stand the look of their faces in the morning even when they were young.  Pay back is a bitch!

Cosmetic surgeons that perform face surgery or breast augmentation surgery are really in the “glamour” industry and not the medical field.  Most people have better things to do with their money then pay thousands of dollars to get a wrinkle removed.  Of course it is your money so if that is what you want to spend it on go right ahead.

So if you want to walk around with “plastic surgery face” I’m not going to stand in your way.  Cosmetic surgery face lifts are readily available for those of you that want to look 20 years old when you are really 45.
