European Vacations For The Adventurous
It used to quite the big deal for someone to on European Vacations. You would have to book passage on a cruise ship, purchase expensive luggage, have the right clothes, and be able to afford the high price hotels in those historic cities spread out across the continent.
But all of that has changed. No more is the European vacation only for the well to do. With the advent of air travel and the proliferation of budget hotels around the world, anybody who wants to can become a world class traveler.
If your not the type of person that will take the time to do your homework and plan out the perfect vacation then you are probably a good candidate for one of the many European vacation packages that are available over the internet or at your local travel agency.
There are so many “can’t miss sites” for you to see, leaving it to chance is not worth the risk. Let’s take a look at just a few a locations that every vacationer should check out:
- The Tower of London Home to the “crown jewels”. Also the place where royalty lost their heads.
- The Louvre If you have ever wanted to check out the Mona Lisa here is your chance. Besides you will sound cool as heck when you tell the folks back at Denny’s that you were at the Louvre.
- The Eiffel Tower You could see this attraction in Las Vegas at the Paris Hotel and Casino. But to see the real thing is a tad bit better.
- Tivoli Gardens We are not talking about the amusement park in Denver. When you get to Copenhagen…which is in Denmark… you will be able to see one of the world’s first amusement parks. Oh, and they have some great gardens!
- The Sistine Chapel Who would not want to see the bible come to life from the brush of the great Michelangelo?
All inclusive European vacations will get you airfare, hotels, transportation, tickets to all locations, euro tickets, and in some case food. It is the earthbound version of the vacation you can take on a cruise ship..minus the horrible buffet.
The best European vacations are the ones that you don’t have to rush through. If all you have is a week then maybe Little Rock, AR would be a better destination for you. But if you have a couple of weeks then Paris, London, Brussels, Rome, Copenhagen, Denmark, and Madrid are waiting for you.
There are many European vacation deals that you can take advantage of during the off season. It is a great way to save money and travel on a budget. Which reminds me to mention the exchange rate.
Make sure that you understand how to exchange your US currency for the foreign currency that you will need. If you don’t want to deal with exchanging money then you should probably use your credit card and let the bank handle all of the details.
If you happened to have hit the lottery you might want to consider one of the special European cruise vacations. You will need a lot of time and a lot of money to take advantage of this type of travel but it is worth it.
European vacations can be fun and full of adventure. Make sure to bring plenty of money and a really good camera. Both are necessary to have memories that will last a lifetime.
