With the cost of just about everything going through the roof it might make really good sense for you to consider on how to make your own wedding.  Yes, do it yourself weddings aren’t  just for the trailer park set anymore.  Nobody is saying that you have to do everything, but it is possible for you to save thousands of dollars by doing a few things.  And the really great part about this is that the few things that you do can be better than the product you might have ended up paying for.

• You can make your own wedding website.  There are many web companies that will let you use their website building software for free.  Blogger will also let you post your website on the Google server for free.  Isn’t free good?
• Make your own wedding favors.  Who says that you have to give expensive wedding favors out?  Why not use the skill you picked up in arts and crafts class and make some homemade gifts.  You guests will so appreciate it.  An example of a wedding favor you can make yourself is scrapbooks. Won’t everybody be impressed?
• Make your own wedding invitations.  With the advent of computers this is really easy.  Not only can you make the invitations but you can show off your computer skills by making photo wedding invitations.
• And while your at it you make your own wedding programs.  This is a great place to save money.  Nobody will care because they throw the darn thing away as soon as your not looking!
